 When you’re diagnosed with diabetes, you may feel a wide range of emotions including fear, anger, denial, confusion, a sense of being betrayed by your body—which has probably served you well for many years. Let us confirm for you that all those emotions, and more, are perfectly normal.
Although there’s no cure for diabetes, you CAN learn to control your condition. Knowledge is at the core of control. Research shows that patients completing diabetes education have greater success at keeping their condition under control and avoiding the serious complications that can arise from diabetes.
Harmon Diabetes Center wants to partner with you and your healthcare provider to ensure you have all the tools you need to live a healthy and vibrant life—with diabetes.
